Abstract
One of the problems associated with nondestructive testing by infrared thermography with heat injection is related to the inspection of nonplanar objects. A method is proposed to determine the shape of an object present in the field of view from the corresponding single, early-recorded thermal image. Such shape reconstruction enables the correction of thermal image distortions due to object shape.
