Ultra-Scan Corporation, the licensor of patented high-accuracy livescan ultrasonic identification systems (LUIS), has announced that ComnetiX Computer Systems Inc. of Toronto, Canada has signed a multi-year license. Under terms of the agreement, ComnetiX will market, integrate, and distribute Ultra-Scan's full line of patented ultrasonic fingerprint readers, AFIS fingerprint matching software and related technologies in solutions for law enforcement and public safety customers, as well as other markets.

Ultrasonics sets standard for "enrollability," usability and accuracy

Ultrasonic fingerprint technology, which was developed and has patents held by Ultra-Scan, is widely recognized as the most accurate method for true identity biometrics.
