Industrial robot suppliers group
Mr Kevin Ostby has been newly appointed Chairman of the Industrial Robot Suppliers Group.

During the EC meeting in Orlando last November, Dr Jong-Oh Park has been appointed as Vice-Chairman of the IFR.
IFR/IEEE Cooperation Workgroup
A joint committee has been formed: Dr Sukhan Lee (Chair), Ms Jeanne Dietch, Dr Erwin Prassler, Mr Paul Johnston and Herman Verbrugge.
A one-day joint IFR/IEEE workshop will be held in conjunction with the IEEE/ICRA Conference in Barcelona, Spain in April 2005. The workshop will consist of two parts:
1 One-half day will be presentations by six (6) finalists in the Service Robotics Innovation Award contest.
2 One-half day workshop on “entrepreneurism”.The parallel workshop will be open to all ICRA delegates. A call for nominations for the Robotics Innovation Award is underway and will be distributed by both the IEEE and IFR.
