General Precision Systems Ltd., of Aylesbury, have developed their Colour Visual Flight Attachment (VFA) to provide added realism for air crew training in flight simulators. Its main use is for instruction in take off, approach and landing under low minima weather conditions, but it can also play an important role in research, as in the case of the newly completed unit for the B.A.C./Sud Concorde, which is to be installed at Toulouse by mid‐August.
