Increased resistance against corrosion given with IRON‐ZINC COATINGS
Abstract
A recent report regarding investigations by the British Iron and Steel Research Association shows that excellent resistance to corrosion can be obtained with iron‐zinc coatings on steel. Exposure trials have shown that a life of up to five years can be obtained from 1‐mil coatings in an industrial atmosphere where an equivalent zinc coating had a life of only two‐and‐a‐half years.
