Reports the results of a survey, conducted by telecoms company O2 and involving 500 of the UK’s largest public and private companies, to gather data relating to these companies’ attitudes and approaches to sustainability reporting as their part in the efforts being made to protect the environment by reducing the nation’s carbon footprint. Reveals that although 80 percent of companies expect sustainability reporting to become fully integrated across their global business within ten to 15 years’ time, few were planning to do anything about it any time soon, while 26 percent had plans to lower their carbon footprint, and 36 percent were more likely to focus on enhancing their balance sheet. Illustrates the approaches being made by companies with actual examples.
