Final agreement of Flextronics acquisition of manufacturing division of ABB SATT AB

ABB and Flextronics International Sweden AB, a subsidiary of Flextronics International Ltd, have announced the signing of a final contract in which Flextronics has agreed to purchase the manufacturing division of ABB SATT AB, located in Malmoe, Sweden.

ABB SATT AB's manufacturing division focuses on industrial automation, including the manufacture of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and supplying advanced product development and design services. Under the agreement, Flextronics will assume the entire manufacturing division, including the existing equipment, material and facilities. Flextronics has offered employment to all 160 (approximately) ABB personnel. Flextronics is expected to continue building relationships with ABB SATT AB's current customers, including ABB, Alfa Laval, Atlas Copco, De La Rue, MultiQ, Siemens-Elema and Tetra Pak.
