The Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) the European organization responsible for air operation regulations in Europe is also fully involved in the ICAO study group charged with making recommendations for A380 operating parameters. In this context, and in response to allegations in the press regarding operating restrictions which could be imposed due to wake turbulence from the A380, JAA stated that it is far too soon to draw any conclusions. The ICAO study group involving international aviation operations regulators continues its work in the spirit of co-operation and will in due time, whilst respecting the strictest operational safety standards, make its recommendations for A380 operations. The A380 wake vortex working group will present its Final Report in November 2006 to ICAO.

It is pure speculation to currently suggest that the A380 will need to be operated in the restricted conditions as suggested by some sections of the international press.
