Interpretation of the nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum of di-(isopropylamino)phenylphosphine sulphide

Abstract

In a re-investigation of the 1H n.m.r. spectrum of the title compound the chemical shift nonequivalence of the isopropyl methyl groups is attributed to the effective asymmetry of the phosphorus centre.
