Abstract
Abstract.
MOBY/PLC is a graphical design tool for PLC-Automata, a special class of hierarchical real-time automata suitable for the description of distributed real-time systems that are implementable on a widely used hardware platform, so-called Programmable logic controllers (PLCs). In the full paper we sketch the modelling language in use and some features of MOBY/PLC, like several validation methods and code generation. We employ this tool suite to deal with the benchmark case study (‘cash-point service’).

Modeling, verification, and implementation of PLC program using timed-MPSG
SCSC '07: Proceedings of the 2007 Summer Computer Simulation ConferenceIn this paper, we proposed a methodology to model, verify, and generate IEC standard PLC code using Timed-MPSG (an extended version of finite state automata). It can reduce PLC development time and the errors that generally occur when PLC programs are ...
Design and Realization of Fuzzy Self-tuning PID Water Temperature Controller Based on PLC
IHMSC '12: Proceedings of the 2012 4th International Conference on Intelligent Human-Machine Systems and Cybernetics - Volume 02Temperature Control System has the characteristics of nonlinear, strong delay and inertia, and it is difficult to build the accurate mathematical models of the system. Conventional PID controller can not achieve precise control because its control ...
Modelling PLC characteristics for resource allocation
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) characteristics for automatic dimensioning and allocation in process control. The automation of an industrial process is invariably faced with the decision of the optimal resources for implementation. It is important ...
