Abstract

Idiopathic intracranial hypertension is a potentially treatable neurological disorder which manifests with headache, diplopia and vision impairment. Various known predisposing factors include obesity, hypothyroidism, steroid withdrawal, medications like tetracyclines, quinolones etc. Association with infections is extremely uncommon. Here we report a young female who presented with features
of idiopathic intracranial hypertension and further etiological work up revealed active mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.
