Zusammenfassung
Der Badeurlaub in sonnigen warmen Ländern steht an der Spitze der Reisewünsche der Deutschen. Ein Badeurlaub ist jedoch nicht ungefährlich: Ertrinken ist weltweit Todesursache Nr. 2 nach Verkehrsunfällen. Weltweit machen jeden Sommer etwa 150 Millionen Badegäste schmerzhafte Bekanntschaft mit vergifteten Pfeilen von Feuerquallen, Seeläusen, Korallen oder Seeanemonen. Dabei können nicht nur Hautausschläge und Verbrennungen entstehen.
