Abstract

We propose a new method of supporting human creativity whereby heterogeneous information is provided to users. By extracting data associatively from databases and selecting data by using a user-model of interests and a user-model of knowledge, this system provides pieces of heterogeneous information to users coarsely within the interests or scope of the users' current thinking. In this paper, how heterogeneous information is provided to users is shown as well as experimental results obtained with a prototype system.
