ABC op de ic

Patiëntoverdracht van de SEH, even de handen op de rug!

Sinds juni 2011 maakt de ic van het Nijmeegse Canisius Wilhelmina Ziekenhuis (CWZ) gebruik van een vaste ABC-methodiek waarmee patiënten van de SEH overgedragen worden naar de ic. Het gebruik van dit protocol zorgt ervoor dat zowel de ic-verpleegkundigen als de ic-artsen volledig op de hoogte zijn van de toestand van de patiënt. Tevens kan het leiden tot reductie van onnodige fouten.
