Bedeutung und Handhabung des eLogbuchs der Ärztekammern

Zusammenfassung

Mit der Verabschiedung der neuen (Muster‑)Weiterbildungsordnung 2018 (MWBO) wird die Weiterbildung erstmals im elektronischen Logbuch (eLogbuch) dokumentiert. Nach sukzessiver Umsetzung der MWBO in die landesrechtlichen Vorgaben werden voraussichtlich bis zum Ende des Jahres 2023 alle Ärztekammern das Instrument verwenden. Der Beitrag stellt die grundsätzliche Arbeitsweise mit der Webanwendung in den Fokus und geht auch auf die Bedeutung des eLogbuchs für die ärztliche Weiterbildung ein. Mit der kompetenzbasierten MWBO/WBO sind Weiterbildungsbefugte und Weiterzubildende aufgefordert, die Weiterbildung strukturiert und geplant durchzuführen und den Weiterbildungsfortschritt kontinuierlich elektronisch zu dokumentieren.

Abstract

With the adoption of the new 2018 (Model) Continuing Medical Education Ordinance ([Muster-]Weiterbildungsordnung, MWBO) for German physicians, continuing education will be documented in the electronic logbook (eLogbuch) for the first time. After successive implementation of the MWBO in the state legal requirements, all medical associations are anticipated to use the tool by the end of 2023. This article focuses on the basic method of working with the web application and also addresses the significance of the eLogbuch for continuing medical education. With the competency-based MWBO/WBO, training supervisors and trainees are required to carry out their training in a structured and planned manner and to continuously document their training progress electronically.
