Om het effect na te gaan van continue passieve mobilisatie (cpm) van de knie op het postoperatieve beloop na artroplastiek, werd bij totaal 87 patiënten die een totale knievervangende (tkv) operatie hadden ondergaan aan de Royal Brisbane Hospital een retrospectief onderzoek naar patiëntengegevens verricht. Vergeleken werden twee gemengde groepen van patiënten met reumatoïde arthritis
