On board a JET-FOIL the poilot keeps watch sitting on a fixed seat while steering the ship. We have taken the measurement of the pilot's head-rotatory angle, head-rotatory speed and eye-movement speed with his head fixed forward when he is on watch by using an EYE-POINTER. The result obtained are as follows ; (1) The eye-movement speed of the pilot on foil-born is faster than that on hull-born. (2) The head-rotatory speed of the pilot on hull-born is faster than that on foil-born. And the head-rotatory speed toward the right tends to be faster than that toward left.
