PATIENTS, THEIR experiences and priorities, are at the heart of two RCN publications launched this week. The snapshot survey highlighting the impact of nurse shortages and the action agenda for quality go hand-in-hand, exposing the challenges to quality posed by the reality of nursing in health services today and proposing new ideas about tackling quality issues.
