危險因子介入後實驗組比控制組顯著降低如體重0.93 Kg(±1.37);腰圍1.45cm(±2.83);收縮壓9.94 mmHg(±12.42);舒張壓3.86 mmHg(±10.66);空腹血糖9.34 mg/dl(±10.58)。結果證實規律運動衛教課程能改善代謝症候群危險因子,建議社區健康護士可應用於實務協助民眾養成規律運動,減少代謝症候群為害健康。
Cardiovascular disease is regularly ranked in the ten leading causes of death in Taiwan in the recent years and it is closely related to metabolic syndrome. Aging and sedentary lifestyle with physical inactivity accounted for increased the risk of metabolic syndrome among middle-aged women. Health promotion prevention of chronic diseases and metabolic syndrome are important tasks for community health nurse. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the effects of regular physical activity and health education program in middle-aged women with parameters of metabolic syndrome. The study was a quasi-experimental design, 73 Participants, age 40-65 years, were recruited from a community to analyze and compare the difference between pre and post test and the change from baseline. After intervention, parameters of metabolic syndrome had significantly reduced in the experimental group in comparison to the control group, for example the decrease in body weight 0.93Kg (±1.37), waist circumference 1.45cm (±2.83), SBP 9.94mmHg (±12.42), DBP 3.86mmHg (±10.66), and fasting plasma glucose 9.34mg/dl (±10.58) . Research findings provided empirical evidence supporting that regular physical activity program may be used as an effective technique to improve the risk factors in subjects with metabolic syndrome. We recommend that community health nurses should aid individuals engage in adequate levels of physical activity to benefit their health, reducing the risk of metabolic syndrome.
