The structure of Taiwan’s society has stepped into an aging state gradually since 1993. According to the analysis from Taiwan’s government that the proportion of the elderly population will reaches its peak and group up to 21.6% amongst the total population in the year of 2026. Thus, the public facility constructions (i.e. parks, multiple service centre and community centre) and caring service for the aging population should become the main concern to out government in the future. The results of this study were gathered from observation, questionnaires and interviews of sites visits. The sites were the residential areas with multiple functional public services in order to understand the aging people’s activities while living in such city and their effect on the structure of the general society. As consequences, the urban planners can build a better living environment for us in the future through this decent understanding of the interactions between those elderly people and the space they are living.
