In this thesis, we implement an AC-DC power module of 42 inch LCD TV. The output power of the power module is 250 watts under full load operation. A series resonant circuit is adopted to provide 24V/8A and 12V/4A for systems and LCD panel. When the system operates under sleep mode, a Fly-back converter is used to provide standby power (5V/2A). To eliminate current harmonics and to achieve high power factor, an active power factor corrector is added to the implemented power module.
