摘要 Abstract
本文主要是從一個協力廠商的角度以及一個危機事件的復原來說明彈性運作的生產組織特質,以及網絡組織及其成員在面對危機災變時的因應與重建。本個案除了具體建構台灣外銷導向的製造產業如何在高度競爭的國際市場中能夠佔有一席之地的生產組織特質外,也提供了組織網絡研究中對於網絡發展的動態結構的思考架構,並釐清在網絡結憶當中個別成員之間的地位與角色的相互關連,進而凸顯出協力廠商在面對環境變遷時,如何利用網絡組織的優勢,以及在結構的限制下,找出可能的生存策略。

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how production networks achieve flexible production both by coordination among firms and by constant adjustment of the number of firms and their division of labor. A case study of a cooperative (xieli) firm provides an analysis of the dynamics of production networks and explains the actions of various firms in terms of their position in a network. In a detailed analysis of a crisis situation and its quick resolution, the mobilization of firms to cope with the crisis shows the strength of a production network. We also point out that the cooperative firm is not as fragile as its position in the network structure may indicate, due to its survival strategy. Even in a crisis situation, the subordinated firm can use its network resources to recover quickly, and benefits from the experience by restructuring to meet future crises.
