This article described the nursing care of a metastatic colon cancer patient who was suspected urinary tract involving. This case was hospitalized for cystoscopy and chemotherapy, however the disease changes were not originally expected, accompanied by pain, hematuria, and tumor progressing. During the nursing care period from October, 6 to 29 in 2015, We used comprehensive assessment to evaluate physiological, physical, spiritual, and social status. The main nursing problems during the hospitalization included: impaired physical mobility, pain, and anxiety. During the period, we provided individual nursing care in order to establish therapeutic relationships and gave the assistance to the case to face the distress of hospitalization and the treatment. Empathize with the case, we taught the case how to adapt to the inconvenience of the disease, including learning physical activity skills, giving positive feedback to strong the will of ambulation, relieving pain by pain control guidelines, providing medical information to reduce anxiety, and enhancing the quality of life then finally the family is able to face the cancer treatment in the future.
