本研究的目標是利用電腦數值模擬方法,即所謂的計算流體動力學方式(Computational Fluid Dynamics),藉由數值方法求解多維度的偏微分統御方程式(multi-dimensional partial differential governing equations)能夠精確有效的預測複雜的並具有流體、熱傳與質量傳輸混合之流動現象。以Gambit(2.4.6版)軟體建構出車削刀具之模型與網格,其中並模擬劃分出切削時與工件接觸部位區域,以求能更真實呈現切削接觸區的熱源溫度場資料。再利用泛用型計算流體力學商用軟體Fluent(13.1版),進行溫度場之分析,包含輻射與對流兩種傳熱效應,得到在車削時刀具-工件接觸區域範圍的溫度分佈資料。 研究方法與內容為,將以乾切削與MQL切削2種方式做分析,當中對於一些未知參數,如車削時刀具-工件接觸區域範圍的熱通量、使用MQL切削時區域的對流傳導係數、輻射率等將以模擬假設參數方式配合田口法直交表實驗,期能找出合理之最佳參數,並與實際車削時的溫度相互比照。透過本研究,將有助於了解刀具車削時的熱傳性質與溫度,此關係著刀具使用壽命、切削液使用量等因素。日後可望做為後續類似工程分析之參考。
