本研究旨在瞭解護理系學生資訊素養能力現況與其影響因素。採橫斷式調查法,利用自擬「護理系學生資訊素養能力評估」問卷,其內在一致性Cronbach's α為.90,專家內容效度檢定CVI值為.87;調查北部三所護理學系大學部畢業班學生,回收有效問卷808份(有效回收率95.9%)。本研究發現(1)護理系學生的資訊素養能力平均得分為3.1分(最高為4分),已達中等程度以上。(2)護理系學生之資訊素養能力會因個人背景因素不同而有差異;其中學制、每天上網耗費時間、全民英檢成績及班上成績排名達顯著差異;一般大學學生資訊素養高於二技進修部,每天平均上網時間「≥2小時」組別之資訊素養平均得分高於「≤1小時」組,而全民英檢中級(含)以上資訊素養平均得分較高。(3)護理系學生之資訊素養能力會因學習經驗不同而有差異;每學期到圖書館頻率少於1-2次的資訊素養較低,而曾接受老師安排或自行利用網站學習圖書資料檢索及修習「電腦」、「學術寫作」等課程,且在課業中經常查閱圖書期刊資源、運用整理圖書期刊資料及運用簡報軟體做口頭報告的學生,資訊素養平均得分較高。依據本研究結果,建議護理教師於課程中應安排圖書檢索資訊的學習活動、加強對英文如MEDLINE與CINAHL等資料庫的介紹、於課業中要求查閱或整理圖書期刊資源、以簡報方式做口頭報告,以提昇學生資訊素養能力。
The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to investigate information literacy competencies and their related, influencing factors among baccalaureate nursing students. The research instrument used in the study was the, Questionnaire on Nursing Students' Self-evaluated Information Literacy Competency (Cronbach's α .90). The 808 subjects were senior baccalaureate nursing students from three nursing schools located in northern Taiwan. The effective response rate was 95.9%. The results showed the following: (1) The mean information literacy competency among the subjects was 3.1 (4-point Likert Scale); (2) The information literacy competency among four-year bachelor nursing students was higher than that of two-year RN-to-bachelor nursing students; (3) the factors influencing the subjects' information literacy competency included time spent surfing the internet per day, performance in the General English Proficiency Test, ranking of academic achievement, frequency of visits to libraries, frequency of resource searches at libraries, whether they used Microsoft PowerPoint to make an oral presentation or not, etc. To promote nursing students' information literacy competency, the following learning activities are recommended for inclusion in the nursing curriculum: journal searching, introduction to MEDLINE or CINAHL, organization of books and reference materials and retrieval of information, and oral presentation with PowerPoint.
