氣功運動是源於古代中國道家的養生法,美國則將氣功視為輔助與替代醫學的一種療法。氣功之功法的運作強調身「鬆」、心「靜」與動作「自然」,配合勻長的呼吸與專注,具有調整負面情緒的作用,並讓身心處於調和的狀態。近年來,氣功運動促進個體身體健康及降低知覺壓力、焦慮及憂鬱的研究日益增加,本文目的在整理相關的研究,以瞭解應用氣功運動對負面情緒的調整效果與機制。結果顯示氣功運動對於焦慮及憂鬱情緒的症狀,在一般成人、青少年、高齡者及慢性疾病的患者都有降低的情形,顯示氣功對於焦慮及憂鬱情緒的具有穩定的調整效果。氣功運動對於負面情緒的調整機制,本文從心理、生理及神經內分泌的觀點,提出其調整機制可能的解釋方向,藉此可釐清氣功運動是從多元的角度調整人體使之平衡。
Qigong is a health cultivation method derived from Taoist in ancient China, and as a form of complementary and alternative medical therapy in the United States. The skills of qigong exercise emphasize the "relaxation" of the body, the "quietness" of the mind and the "naturalness" of movements. It has the effect of regulating negative emotion and keeping the body and mind in a harmonious state, through deeply breathing and concentration. In recent years, increasing number of studies have documented the effectiveness of qigong exercise in helping people improve their physical health and reduce perceived stress, anxiety and depression. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to summarize the researches to understand the regulatory effects and mechanisms of applying qigong exercise in negative emotions. Results show that qigong exercise reduce the symptoms of anxiety and depression in adults, adolescents, elderly and people with chronic disease, which illustrated qigong can regulate the emotion of anxiety and depression. In conclusion, this article provides the explain of regulatory mechanisms for qigong regulates negative emotion from the perspectives of psychological, physiological and neuroendocrine to demonstrate qigong exercise balance human body from a multiplicity of directions.
