The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting satisfaction level of neighborhood park. By reviewing previous studies, these factors include personalities and motivations of park users, and characteristic of parks. Five neighborhood parks are selected from Taipei city for empirical study. The result shows that age, occupation, education, frequency of utilization and time of use are related to user's satisfaction of neighborhood park. The most prevailing factor related to satisfaction level is ”wade beauty of the park.” The environment factors which affect the satisfaction level of the park are different for different motivation user groups. Sex, age, occupation, education, income, resident characteristic, frequency of utilization, and time of use have associated with users' motivation.
