Proposal of criteria to distinguish multiple primary lung cancer from intrapulmonary metastasis in patients with multiple lung tumors

Twenty-two lung cancer patients (each patient≥2 tumors) were enrolled in a training cohort, and 13 patients were recruited as the validation cohort. Genomic profiles using 450-gene targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) were analyzed, and the new diagnostic criteria for MPLC and IPM was established based Martini & Melamed criteria and molecular criteria.
