Codes and colors of haplotypes (blue: Northern, red: Circumpolar, green: Southern) correspond with Fig 1-2-3, and Table 1. The collectors’ inicials are identical with the authors’ initials of the ms. Sites which Esox population is charecterised by mixed phylogenetic origin are emphasized with bold letter type.
