Mars Palaeolake System - Western Arabia Terra - Digital Elevation Models

Digital elevation models (DEMs) produced for research and publication on a system of palaeolakes located near the planetary dichotomy in western Arabia Terra, Mars. This data is primarily composed of CTX and HiRISE DEMs produced by the author, from stereo orbital imagery with SOCETSET and the USGS workflow (Kirk, et al. 2008), with additional HRSC and MOLA DEMs used to fill gaps.

Entry includes three image files:

- LakeSystem_DEM_Mosaic.tif - Coverage of entire study area, composed of CTX DEMs (20 m/pixel) with HRSC and MOLA DEM data to fill gaps

- LakeBasin_DEM_HiRISE.tif - Coverage across a single palaeolake basin floor, at HiRISE DEM resolution (2 m/pixel)

- DEM_Context.jpg - Context image showing the location, scale, and coverage of the various DEM resolutions and sources
