A practical two-part workshop on surviving COVID-19 isolation, understanding the anxieties we are feeling, and emerging stronger on the other side.

Mental health matters. We know that many of our members are anxious about the COVID-19 lockdown and what the world will look like on the other side. This is a time of shared vulnerabilities – concerns about finances, relationships, isolation from colleagues, fear of change or of returning to work in an uncertain health environment affect us all.

Sandy Rea is a leading practising psychologist with thirty years professional standing and extensive qualifications including a Master of Criminology (Forensic Psych), Master of Education Grad Dip Health Science (Child, Adult & Family Mental Health) and Graduate Certificate in Gifted Education. She is a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society College of Educational & Developmental Psychologists.

Sandy has developed a two-part seminar for VicBar members on mental health and coping during Covid-19. The Covid Capsule will help you:

· Understand the terminology and improve your mental health literacy

· Normalise typical psychological reactions experienced during COVID-19

· Navigate transitions from work to home to work with insight and adaptiveness

· Develop psychological safety in yourself and within your workplace, and

· Improve your psychological wellbeing.
