This article deals with the problem of banking security in relation to banking services. Various attempts at extortion were presented. Next, the most important actions taken by banks and financial institutions in Poland to combat cybercrime were discussed. The increasing number of Internet and mobile banking users, the increase in proximity payments, increases the number of offenders. In recent years there has been a sharp increase in the number of phishing attempts and eavesdropping. The scale of the phenomenon highlights the importance of cybercrime and gives importance to the issue.
