Land contamination generated by non-metallic mining activities through inappropriate handling and storage of industrial wastes and mine waters that pass through these sites. The contaminated land is not just the surface of the soil but also the underground and underground water. This contamination has the potential to damage the human factor and the environment. For qualitative quantification of the activity carried out in the Brad mining perimeter, we carried out an assessment of the impact of pollutant emissions on environmental components. The composition and structure of the contaminated areas together with the nature of the organic part and their humidity give the system extremely diverse physico-chemical characteristics. On the other hand, the composition and amount of contaminant product contributes to the formation of a pollutant-zone system with very different characteristics. In the case of historical pollution, as in the present situation, when there was a distributed source, the delimitation of the contaminated area will be based on the information obtained by analyzing the pollutant from the samples taken in a uniformly distributed system from the potentially polluted area of the site. The objective of the paper is to determine the quality index on each environmental component, to determine the pollutant index on each environmental component and to assess the global environmental pollution in contaminated sites in the Brad mining perimeter.
