Abstract:		 Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is considering re-establishing the Kitchen Garden and in conjunction with Tees Archaeology it was felt that archaeological work in the garden area would provide useful information to inform such a scheme. This would also provide an opportunity for local people and local schools to take part in archaeological work and raise awareness of the garden. The report comprises a desk-based assessment of the site including available maps; a summary of a geophysical survey undertaken by Durham University; and a an excavation report including a list and discussion of the finds.
