Material examined. 1 ♂ “ India: Bihar, Purnea, 19.iii.1909, leg. C. Paiva ” (NZCI).

Distribution. India: Assam, Bihar and West Bengal (Ahrens & Fabrizi 2016; Chandra et al. 2021; this paper); Reunion and Madagascar (Ahrens 2003).

Remarks. This is the first record of this species for Bihar.
