NOTE. — Known only from the Guiana Shield.

VERNACULAR NAMES. — Pa: tavu, tawu • Ka: sapululi, tabululi, tapululi • Wp: tapululi • Cr: gro-komou.

HERBARIUM DATA (FG). — 5 collections at CAY. Sel. exs.: J.-J. de Granville 3411.

SIZE. — Up to 40 cm dbh (Granville & Gayot 2014).
