Phrynidius guifarroi Santos-Silva, Van Roie & Jocqué, 2021: 48; Monné, 2023: 468 (cat.).

Remarks. This species was described based on two females from Honduras. The male differs from females by the antennae slightly surpassing the elytral apex.

(1, BMNH; 2, CMNC); 2 specimens, Biotopo Quetzal, 15.20885 -90.21592 ± 207m, 1925m, 9.V.2009, LLAMA Go-B-02-4-04, cloud forest, beating vegetation, LLAMA Team leg. (CMNC); 1 specimen, Biotopo Quetzal, 15.20885 -90.21592 ± 207m, 1925m, 8.V.2009, LLAMA Go-B-02-2-06, cloud forest, beating vegetation, LLAMA Team leg. The term LLAMA corresponds to the Leaf Litter Arthropods of MesoAmerica research project.
