Tunca River (Çamur-Elipek et al. 2006), Yeşilırmak River (Gültutan & Kazancı 2008), Meriç River, Thrace region (Özkan 2006a; Özkan 2010a; Özkan & Elipek 2006), Gökçeada (Özkan 2006c), Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions streams and lakes (Şahin 1984), Marmara, Aegean, Sakarya river systems (Şahin 1987c), Çanakkale region (Özkan 2007), Hazar Lake (Elazığ) (Aydın 2022), Kırklareli province (Aydın & Güher 2017), Kapıdağ Peninsula (Özkan 2012b).
