Description

The formation of social entrepreneurship is the focus of interest in this research. The objective is to understand how the formation of a social entrepreneur takes place from the relationship between the journey of life of a religious and their practices carried out through the welcoming and labor insertion of migrants and refugees in Fortaleza. The flows of life approach was employed to comprehend the life trajectory of the social entrepreneur. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing narrative interviews as a tool to capture discourses related to past actions. Narrative analysis was also employed as a data analysis technique. With respect to the results, the analysis allowed for the identification that the life trajectory of the entrepreneur was significantly influenced by experiences conceived within the family and church contexts, leading him to question, based on his own experience, the difficulties of life and the motivation to provide a better life for vulnerable migrants. The study concludes that the life trajectory of Frei Franciscano encompasses elements of a cultural construction attained from the diverse situations he has encountered, within a relational perspective that presupposes the improvisation of a journey through the world as events unfold, acquiring skills and undertaking entrepreneurial actions focused on social causes.
