TYPE LOCALITY: Benin, Littoral, Cotonou [Bénin... Cotonou, XII.2003, leg. G. Goergen ”].
TYPE SPECIMEN: Holotype ♁, by original designation, deposited in SMNHTAU.
CURRENT STATUS: Drino (Palexorista Townsend, 1921) juxtina (Lehrer, 2013), comb. nov.
FAMILY: Tachinidae.
REMARKS: Holotype in fair condition, but somewhat greasy and with wings and legs partly damaged. It is direct-pinned, with terminalia dissected and kept in a vial with glycerin on same pin. This is the first record of Drino from Benin (O’Hara & Cerretti 2016).
