Type locality: Ostindien [East Indies]

= Trachonitis rufibasella Yamanaka, 1978: 198–200, figs. 4, 12–14

Type locality: Japan, Tokyo, Oku-Tama, Nippara

Distribution. Indian records: Sikkim (Hampson 1896b), Darjeeling (Whaley 1971). Global records: Ostindien [East Indies] (Zeller 1867b), China (Caradja 1925), Sumatra (Roesler 1983), China (Du et al. 2002) Borneo (Sutton et al. 2015).
