Celmisia macmahonii var. hadfieldii Allan 1961

Description

36. Celmisia macmahonii var. hadfieldii W.Martin ex Allan (1961: 628, 967).

Type:— NEW ZEALAND. South Island, Mt Richmond, Dec 1932, W. Martin s.n. (holotype CHR 76115!).

Notes:— Allan (1961) ascribed variety hadfieldii to Martin, because Martin had previously mentioned it as a nomen nudum (Martin 1935: 180–181). However, according to the ICN Art. 46.5 and 46.6 (Turland et al. 2018), the author can be cited either as C. macmahonii var. hadfieldii Allan or as C. macmahonii var. hadfieldii W.Martin ex Allan.
