CONCEPTUAL MODEL OF GEYSER GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE
Creators
Description
A new conceptual model of the geological structure of geysers is proposed. The properties and characteristics of geysers were compared with the processes as a result of which they may appear or, conversely, cannot appear. Systematic analysis showed that the gas and mineral composition of geyser waters, their temperature and a number of their other indicators do not correspond to the story according to which meteor waters are heated by magmatic bodies in Nature. The geological localization of geysers indicated the connection of their occurrence with long-lived volcanic centers, which is confirmed by the peculiarities of the composition and condition of geyser water. A new concept is proposed in which the water spewed by geysers is considered as a product of volcanism.
