QSM4SENIOR: Quantitative susceptibility mapping in the aging of the healthy brain

  • 1. CNRS BAOBAB UMR9027 Gif-Sur-Yvette, France; CEA NeuroSpin, Gif-Sur-Yvette, France
  • 2. VENTIO, Marseille, France

Description

This work presents preliminary results for the QSM4SENIOR project, a partnership between NeuroSpin (CEA) and Ventio. A poster was presented at QMR Lucca, Italy 2022, a joint workshop on MR phase, magnetic susceptibility and electrical properties mapping. It introduces a pipeline for computing the Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping (QSM) from the data of healthy senior participants (SENIOR database). The pipeline allows the computation of clean and exploitable QSM, thanks to a phase pre-processing to reduce the presence of artifacts in the 7T MRI data. These maps will be then used for studying the iron accumulation in the normal aging process. This computation was performed in a secured cloud environment, provided by de.NBI Cloud.
