TYPE LOCALITY: Kenya, Taita.

DISTRIBUTION: S Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya.

SYNONYMS: barbatogularis, macmillani, parkeri.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Platymops; see Freeman (1981:133, 161). Formerly included in Platymops by Harrison and Fleetwood (1960:277-278).
