Description

Myotis tricolor (Temminck, 1832). In Smuts, Enumer. Mamm. Capensium, p. 106.

TYPE LOCALITY: South Africa, Cape Province, Capetown.

DISTRIBUTION: Ethiopia and Zaire, south to South Africa.

SYNONYMS: loveni.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Myotis. Originally Eptesicus loveni, see Schlitter and Aggundey (1986).
