TYPE LOCALITY: Peru, Junin Dept., Chanchamayo, near Tarma, 923 m.

DISTRIBUTION: Ecuador and Peru.

SYNONYMS: orientalis.

COMMENTS: Taxonomy and distribution reviewed by Voss (1988), who retained orientalis as a subspecies.
