TYPE LOCALITY: India, Assam, Khasi Hills, Cherrapunji.
DISTRIBUTION: S China (Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong), NE India (Assam), E Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, south to Perak on Malay Peninsula.
SYNONYMS: latouchei, pannosus, prusianus, senex, umbriceps (see Ellerman and MorrisonScott, 1951; Medway, 1969).
