TYPE LOCALITY: Solomon Isis, Bougainville Isl.

DISTRIBUTION: Endemic to islands of Buka, Bougainville, and Choliseul in Solomon Arch.

COMMENTS: Known by extant specimens and archaeological fragments (Flannery and Wickler, 1990).
