Description

Myotis albescens (E. Geoffroy, 1806). Ann. Mus. Hist. Nat. Paris, 8:204.

TYPE LOCALITY: Paraguay, Paraguari, Yaguaron (of neotype).

DISTRIBUTION: S. Veracruz (Mexico) to Uruguay, N. Argentina, Peru, and Surinam.

COMMENT: Includes argentatus; see LaVal, 1973, Bull. Los Ang. Cty. Mus. Nat. Hist. Sei. Soc., 15: 25.

ISIS NUMBER: 5301405014014002001 as M. albescens.

5301405014014005001 as M. argentatus.
